A book size produced by folding a sheet with four right angle folds, giving a leaf size 1/16, the size of the sheet and forming a section of 32 pages. For a full definition, the size of the sheet must also be given. A sheet 25 by 38 inches produces a book size (untrimmed) of 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches. Written as 16mo or 16 °. Also called "sextodecimo."
