misbound

One or more leaves or sections of a book which have been incorrectly folded, bound in the wrong place, or bound in upside down. Text blocks bound in upside down are a common occurrence in edition binding. miscellaneous binding. 1 Primarily a British term applied to a style of hand binding that is not of as high a quality as extra binding, but considerably superior to edition binding.
