jogger
A vibrating device used to produce a smooth-sided
pile of paper stock before trimming, folding,
binding, etc., or to align and position any
material for any purpose during a production run.
The jogger may be a unit or a part of a printing
press delivery system. Joggers are employed at the
press or cutter in small printing shops and
binderies, in label factories, and in the
gathering machines of newspaper printing plants.
