art parchment
A thick, heavy, hard-sized paper manufactured from
cotton fiber and/or chemical wood pulps. To some
extent it has the natural appearance of PARCHMENT . It is
used for documents, or in other applications where
a heavy paper is required; in the latter half of
the 19th century it was used as a cover paper. See
