Klaus Hendriks and three colleagues moved from the Conservation Research Laboratory of the National Archives of Canada to the Canadian Conservation Institute when their lab was merged with the CCI in November 1993. Dr. Hendriks has become Senior Scientist in the Conservation Research Services Directorate.
Bob Davison, who was pictured in the May 1990 On Paper (the Hercules house organ) accepting a plaque on the occasion of his retirement from Hercules, died June 25, 1993. He was one of the pioneers in the development of alkaline size (see related article, this issue of APA.).
Vasant Chapnerkar is now in Tampa, heading his own consulting firm, Alkaline Paper Technology International, Inc. (4708 Tannery Ave., Tampa, FL 33624, 813/961-6823, fax 961-8592).
