To the Editor:

Your pH pen has gotten a lot of use and a lot of advertising at my hands. When I produce it before a marbling class I always hope they will all fall down in worship like savages who have just seen their first cigarette lighter--but they haven't done that. Is there something I am doing wrong do you suppose? I usually take it on visits to paper companies where it sometimes proves that the samples they have are not what they are said to be. I think that the samples are the last thing they change.
