Mill Conversions

• The Dayton mill of the old Howard Paper Mills, now owned by Badger Paper Mills, converted to alkaline on June 1. Badger's original mill, in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, converted in October 1991.
• Mead's Escanaba, Michigan, ,ill, completed its alkaline conversion June 8 (see Letter to the Editor from Sharon Williamson of Mead, in this issue).
