Jonathan S. Arney began work in November as Research Scientist with the University of Dayton Research Institute, where he expects to be engaged in conservation research. As Adjunct Professor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, he will be working with Bill Scott in preparing a short course in paper technology for the Ohio conservation community.
C. Edwin Brandon, professor emeritus at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, has been a 1990 recipient of ASTM's Award of Merit, in recognition of his continuing service and leadership to Committee D-6 on Paper and Paper Products in the development of specifications and test methods.
