To mark the 300th anniversary of papermaking in the United States, the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, DC, is planning an exhibition which will open in December 1990 and will run through November 1991. Paper manufacturers and suppliers are encouraged to assist in this effort, and curator Helena Wright of the Museum's Division of Graphic Arts is looking for the following kinds of historical materials:
