Mill Conversions

• Boise Cascade's Vancouver mill converted to alkaline in the first part of December 1989. Now three of Boise Cascade's six fine paper mills are alkaline.
• The Simpson Pasadena Paper Company's San Jacinto mill in Pasadena, Texas converted the last two of its three paper machines on May 5. Now three of the eight Simpson fine paper mills are alkaline
