Corrections

On p. 4 in the last issue, there is a little news item about Blue M aging ovens, specifically the "bell jar chamber," which was seen as suitable for moist aging. In fact, it does not get hot enough. The standards call for at least 80°C, and it can only get up to 77°.

A Thank-you to Supporters

Most of the Alkaline Paper Advocate's expenses, and those of its companion publication, the Abbey Newsletter, are not paid by an outside organization, but by its 400 odd subscribers, sales of the pH pen, and by voluntary donations. Last year these donations totalled $3593. The editor and trustees of Abbey Publications, Inc. want to express appreciation for this support and the convenience and security it has brought.

This year, $695 has been received.
