Maps on Wheels. The Queensland City Office of the Australian Archives attached large swivel wheels with brakes to the two drafting tables they already had, and are using them to transport maps and plans to and from storage areas. They are very pleased with how the trolleys have worked out. They attached a 20mm strip projecting along the bottom edge, so the maps will not slide off when it is in the vertical position, and hung two large flexible luggage nets from the top edge, with hooks for them at the bottom, to keep them from buckling. It took only an hour and $132 to convert both tables. More information and two pictures are in the AICCM National Newsletter for June.

New Conservation Supplier. Roger Scott Blair, president of Conservation Support Systems, was showing his company's products at the AIC meeting in June. He is still adding to his product line. Address: 924 W. Pedregosa St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101-4622 (805/682-9843, fax 682-2064).
