Our Telephone Number(s)

For reasons of economy, we listed the fax telephone line as a personal, not a business, number. So if you ask Directory Assistance for the number of Ellen McCrady in Provo, Utah, they will give you a number that does not work, except for faxes.

There is another number that does work, but we never answer it unless there is someone already on our main line.

(We now have telephones that let us make or receive two calls simultaneously.) That number is used so much by computerized marketing services, for reasons we can only guess at, that we never give out the number to anyone. We do not know how all those computers got our number in the first place. We can tell by the way the phone rings when the call is on this line, so we never answer calls caning in on it directly.

The number that does work is 801/373-1598. You can reach us there almost any time, any day.
