Convention Reports

It will not be possible after all to report the 1980 Cambridge Conference or the 1980 and 1981 AIC meetings in detail as planned, despite the fact that tapes of many sessions are available and some of them are already transcribed. The editing, research and verification tasks are just too great for the tine available. Readers are invited to continue sending reports of conferences, or of the sessions they attended and were most impressed by.

Correction

The last issue (August) was not Volume 5 #2 but Volume 5 #3.

Back Issue Reprinted

Volume 1 #11, a special issue devoted to rebuttal of a 1977 article on "Kitchen Chemistry in the Care of Books" from the AB Bookman's Weekly, is in print again. It contains a lead article by chemist Margaret Hey, entitled "Kitchen Chemistry: The Reasons Why Not." Price: $1.00.

The price of the next 4 issues, #12-15, have been reduced to $1.00 to keep the per-page price about the same for all issues.
