Environmental Control for Historic Structures

Museum Textile Services and the Andover Historical Society present a one-day workshop addressing relative humidity, temperature and light issues in museum areas. Starting with the outside of the building and moving in, attendees will learn creative and affordable strategies for controlling and monitoring display and storage environments. Methods for treating mold and pests will also be discussed. This workshop will be taught by David Lee Colglazier, former conservator at Old Sturbridge Village, and Camille Myers Breeze, Director of Museum Textile Services. The workshop will take place at the Andover Historical Society in Andover, Massachusetts. Cost is $40 per person.
