Re: Fabric store

Jennifer,

Denver Fabrics in Denver has fantastic fabric in their store.  They don't look at you like you have serveral heads if you ask for linen.  The notion wall is good and the staff knowledgleable and friendly.  They are six hours from me, but the closest decent store to Santa Fe and I've made special trips.

The on-line store has the same name, but is owned by a separate group.  I have no experience with them.

You could also try G-Street in Maryland or Greenburg and Hammer in New York for notions.

Good luck,

Rebecca Tinkham

I was hoping someone could give me a good recommendation for a fabric store.  I need general notions and muslin etc.  I used to order from Baer Fabrics in Louisville, KT,  but they recently went out of business.  I am in Utah but local fabric stores do not have the quantity that I need, and other catalog based stores seem to charge twice as much.

Thanks

Jennifer
