Hello textile conservators
I am looking for suggestions on how to best store a long strip of dyed (or painted) silk, approximately four inches wide and five feet in length. The piece is very lightweight, with some tearing and/or shredding of the silk in spots. Would rolling it on a tube cause further damage?
