An answer from one continent for a supplier on another continent for a contractor on yet a third continent -- amusing and amazing!    By way of clarification, I am trying to match the fabric used in an US Army officer's jacket from WWII -- the wool was supplied by a British manufacturer.

I am looking for a source for BRITISH-made wool that was used in US Army officer uniforms in  WWII (c. 1943-44).  The color is dark olive  green.
