Thanks for the info.
The seed pearls on the wedding veil are glass spheres
with an unidentified material on the inside. I
removed a broken one. The material dissolved with a
drop of water leaving the glass shell. Sections of
beads are missing although the stitching is still
intact. The veil may have been washed?
Wet cleaning and bleaching definetly not reccommended.
