2nd and Final Call for Papers ? ICON Textile Group Annual Forum 2007
The UK's Institute of Conservation (ICON), Textile Group invites abstracts for papers and posters for the 2007 Annual Forum, exploring issues relating to the conservation, display, storage and historical research of costume.
All aspects of the subject are welcome, for example reconstruction issues, mounting, cleaning, assessments and/or removal of previous conservation methods. We are particularly interested in treatment techniques and/or materials.
The forum will be held at the V&A, London, UK, on Monday, April 23rd, 2007, with an optional second day on Tuesday April 24th that will include guided tours of the V&A?s textile conservation studio and upcoming costume exhibitions.
