Ms. Compton has been the Media Archives Archivist for the UGA Libraries'  Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection since July 2001.  She preserves industrial films, campus films, two newsfilm archives,  home movies, educational films, television kinescopes and videotapes, audiotapes of radio programs, folklore, and regional music.
