In response to current events, the Preservation and Reformatting Section's Discussion Group is sponsoring a Disaster Recovery Forum at ALA Midwinter Meeting, Sunday, January 21, 4-6 pm. This forum's goal is to provide perspectives on how libraries deal with long-term recovery from natural disasters. I am hoping to get panelists from other ALA divisions, but also need Preservation Administrators to discuss their experiences with helping libraries respond to disasters in a longer time frame.
