[PADG:1206] Library bindings from other countries

Morning,

I'm curious if other institutions are being tempted by their book
suppliers from other countries (China, Turkey, etc.) to have books on a
purchasing plan bound, for considerably less money, prior to
shipment.  We have offers from suppliers and I'd like to see if
anyone else has similar experiences and how they are/were
handled.

Also, if this topic generates a good amount of discussion I'd like it to
be continued at the Library Binding DG at Midwinter.
