Folks: Correction to the ALA Annual Schedule which I sent out in April.
All Committee Meeting
388-390 Convention Center
You should ignore Hampton Inn.
I apologize for any confusion. See you in New Orleans and thank you Jane

Joan and Jane,
Okay and you'll need to make sure everyone knows this. You are in the
convention center room 388-390 for the all committee meeting. There is no
record on the Hampton Inn's meeting report that conference services has that
your meeting is scheduled there.
Talking with conference services, it again looks like the software package
they use ignored entries made by the staff and assigned your meeting (by
meeting name) to the Hampton. Needless to say, they were upset that this
happened since this is just one in a longer line of mishaps with this
software package.
So to repeat: PARS All Committee Meeting is scheduled for Convention Center
Room 388-390.
Ignore the Hampton Inn.

Jane: I just more carefully compared your message with Charles'. I went
back and checked out the schedule. There's a conflict on the schedule.
By
copying Charles on this message, I am asking for clarification. Joan

Hi, Joan. FYI. When I went to correct the meeting list we got on April
10th (the one I use to make up my personal schedule), the location for the
All Committee Meeting was listed as the Hampton Inn, Riverside BR1. I think
this may be confusing for folks (it was for me). Hope you are having spring
way up north... Jane

Joan,
The PARS all committee meeting has been moved but only next door to the room
you were scheduled for. The room is now 388-390 in the convention center.
You were in 391-392. This is the Monday 8-10 meeting.
We'll put up a sign.
