[PADG:915] Re: disaster supply list

For those interested in the Cobra Coils, etc..., UIUC has been buying a similar product from New Pig (www.newpig.com) for several years. In addition to a number of absorbents, they carry adhesive-surfaced (one side) rubber dykes that span doorways and hallways to stop the flow of water.

All,

At the Midwinter PADG meeting, Disaster preparedness speaker Alfred Lemmon mentioned a list of supplies he keeps on his disaster supply shelves. Several people spoke to him about getting a copy of the list for their own possible use.  One woman was especially interested in the 'snakes' [AKA Cobra coils] used to stop the spread of water inside a facility.

Attached, please find an MS Word version of the list.

Thanks to Alfred for providing the list,

Cathy

 C athy,

Here is the disaster cart container list.  You can feel free to circulate to the preservation group.  I still can not find the e-mail from the person who was inquiring about the "snakes" to stop the spread of water.
