[PADG:190] RE: photo album pages with residual glue

Try a "rubber cement pickup" sold in art supplies stores that sell drafting supplies. It's a crepeline rubber square that can pull off the sticky residue.  As the square gets dirty it can be trimmed.

Subject: [PADG:189] photo album pages with residual glue

We have a patron with an old photo album with photos that were adhered to the page with scotch tape. The scotch tape is coming off leaving an edge around the photos that is sticky, causing the pages to stick to each other. Any suggestions for something that the patron could do to get rid of or greatly reduce the stickiness?

Thanks,

Nancy
