The Illinois State Library and the Council of Academic Libraries (CAL), a consortium of libraries in Illinois, is seeking proposals for the development and implementation of a state-wide preservation needs assessment. The assessment will provide needed data and recommendations for planning and implementing a program for the preservation of collections in all types of institutions, including libraries, archives, and historical societies.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 14, 2004 at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time..
