I am pleased to announce that Eric Alstrom will join Michigan State
University Libraries as the new Collections Conservator on April 1 (this
is not an April Fools).

Eric comes to us from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, where he has been
Collections Conservator and instructor in the book arts since 1998. Before
that he was conservator at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.  He has also
worked with James Craven & Associates, Bessenberg Bindery, and the Bentley
Historical Library Conservation Lab as a conservator.  He received his
library degree from the University of Michigan.
