> POSITION:	Project Manager, Preservation Microfilming
> 
> REQUIREMENTS:	
> *	MLS required (entry-level position).  
> *	Basic understanding of and a committment to preservation of library
> materials.
> *	Excellent written and oral communication skills.  
> *	Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. 
> *	Ability to learn and apply appropriate software applications.
> *	Proofreading/quality assurance ability and skills.
> PREFERRED:
> *	Basic understanding of micrographic technology.
> 
> RESPONSIBILITIES:	
> *	Conducts market and project research. 
> *	Develops new products and services and implements new projects. 
> *	Champions new products and services, including writing business and
> implementation plans and marketing.  
> *	Has a working familiarity with all assigned product specifications
> and provides project overview to camera QA functions.  
> *	Works closely with all production functions to ensure project
> quality, accuracy and timely delivery.  
> *	Maintains project overview including tracking and ensuring project
> schedules, maintains records and statistics.  Maintains project
> information database.
> *	Develops and assists in the production of finding aids.  
> *	Assists in the assignment and monitoring of editorial and
> bibliographic work to internal and freelance staff. 
> *	Assists in the maintenance of client relationships including travel
> to client sites.  
> *	Supervision and training of clerical staff.
>
