Re: Web Site Capture, Anyone?

Cathy

You (and others interested in the preservation of web sites) might
like to look at the Australian PANDORA project at

http://www.nla.gov.au/pandora/

In order to set up a digital archive of Australian online publications,
in June 1996 the National Library of Australia established
the PANDORA Project. It has achieved significant results:

establishing the PANDORA Archive of selected Australian Internet
publications, such as electronic journals, organisational sites,
government publications and ephemera;

developing policy and procedures for the preservation of Australian
Internet publications and for the provision of access to them;

developing a proposal for a national approach to the long-term
preservation of these publications.
