PADG Meeting
The following is the Agenda for the upcoming meeting at Midwinter. The
topics are quite varied with discussion led by distinguished and
experienced preservation administrators.
Preservation Adminstration Discussion Group: Radisson Hotel, Ballroom A,
Saturday, January 10th, 9:00 a.m. to noon. Co-Chairs: Winston Atkins and
John Dean. Agenda.
9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. George Farr. State of the National Endowment for
the Humanities.
9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Abby Smith. Report from the CLIR and NDLF.
10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Richard Peek. Use-based selection for microfilm.
10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Break
11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Don Etherington. Conservationm treatment and its
crucial place in the preservation program.
11:30 a.m. to Noon Sonja Jordan. Report from IFLA and the group's feed
back on IFLA programs.
