The State Library of Victoria is pleased to announce the availability of 
two
positions in its Collection Preservation and Access Division.

Coordinator, Conservation
Position no. 4403, Band 3
Ongoing

This new position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced 
conservator to
join the Library's Preservation Section. The position is responsible for
planning the collection conservation services in the redeveloped 
Library, the
conservation of the State Collection as well as national and international
treasures.

The successful applicant will possess significant experience and
qualifications in the preservation of library materials and is likely to 
have
significant standing in the materials conservation profession. You will
demonstrate superior problem solving, communication, interpersonal,
supervisory and PC skills.

Photographer
Position no. 4313, Band 2
Ongoing

The State Library's Collection Preservation and Access Division also has an
exciting opportunity for an experienced photographer to join the Imaging
Studio.  This position is responsible for the production of analogue and 
digital
images for internal and external customers and maintaining studio and
darkroom equipment.

To be successful you will possess significant experience in professional
studio photography using small, medium and large format analogue and
digital cameras; be experienced in reflective and transparency scanning and
large format digital printing. Relevant tertiary qualifications and 
sound PC
skills are also required.
