There is no way that anyone but a conservator could flatten a warped 
canvas board, and many of them would demur. The complexity of providing
sufficient humidification for flattening the board core without damaging
the sizing under the paint film is daunting. Given the date of this item
it probably has a glue sizing which would be water sinsitive. Beyond putting
it in a frame which projects forward enough to shelter the surface of the
painting, there is not much which can be done if it is to be preserved intact.
If it must be flattened, a painting conservator should be consulted.
