The aim of this conference is to discuss the results obtained during the two-year study: used methods, findings and assessment of results. By disclosing two existing study collections following questions came up and were answered: What is a study collection? Pedagogy, used in universities, used How does an object of the study collection relate to an object from the permanent collection? Collection policy How does one deal with a study collection? Registration, hands on What are the best practices to use study collections? On line website, Manipulation, restrictions What are the practical obstacles acquiring a study collection? n, disclosure, infrastructure How to arrange the practical organization of the consultation? Consultation, infrastructure, searching, staff All this with the objective of sustainable use, access and disclosure of two study collections. The goal of this project is to create a conceptual framework around study collections.
