Workshop New Functionality in MediaInfo for the Conservation of Digital Video Tate Britain, London July 23, 2016 Dave Rice will be delivering a free one day workshop at Tate Britain (London, UK) on his work in adding functionality to MediaInfo for the conservation of digital video artworks, on Saturday 23 July 2016. The workshop is the outcome of a collaboration between Dave Rice and PERICLES <URL:http://pericles-project.eu/main> In early 2015 Tate published an initial report by Dave Rice "Sustaining Consistent Video Presentation" <URL:http://www.tate.org.uk/research/publications/sustaining-consistent-video-presentation> Following on from this Dave has been working to add functionality to MediaInfo in order to provide a tool for conservators to easily present information relevant to the challenge of consistent video playback for preservation. We have a few places available.
