Subject: Survey on use of peroxide on blackened lead pigments on paper
I am currently completing my Master's in Conservation of Fine Art specialising in Works of Art on Paper at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, UK. As of late I have been conducting research for my dissertation project, which focuses on the application of lead pigments in different artistic contexts and the consequent treatment decisions in conservation, with special focus on lead white and red lead in Japanese woodblock prints. I have constructed a brief survey for conservation professionals with targeted questions on their past experiences and use of peroxide on blackened lead pigments on paper. <URL:https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Y5S6YB8> The information provided will be used as a first person source in my project and contribute to the understanding of current use of peroxide in relation to lead pigments on paper in conservation practice. If you wish to leave contact information, you will be sent a final copy of the research which you have so kindly contributed to. Submission of the survey will close August 8, 2016. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, at camillacamus<-at->yahoo<.>fr or my supervisor Dr. Jane Colbourne <jane.colbourne<-at->northumbria<.>ac<.>uk> Thank you, Camilla Camus-Doughan +44 797 5948 291 *** Conservation DistList Instance 30:5 Distributed: Saturday, June 18, 2016 Message Id: cdl-30-5-011 ***Received on Wednesday, 15 June, 2016
