A Changing Art: Nineteenth-Century Painting Practice and Conservation The Wallace Collection London, UK Friday 7 October 2016 The British Association of Picture-Restorer Conservators (BAPCR) are pleased to present a major one day conference on the conservation of nineteenth-century paintings and associated technical research. The conference will include talks on: approaches to restoration and the presentation of paintings in the nineteenth century; technical analysis and research into nineteenth-century artists' materials and working methods; the challenges faced by today's conservators treating works from this period, illustrated with case studies.
