The Preservation Specialist is responsible for developing daily work
schedules and providing day-to-day direction to team members
according to devised work plans.  Analytical skills and technical
knowledge are needed to determine appropriate and necessary
treatment actions.  Duties include communicating assignments, goals
and strategies to the team's balancing workloads among team members;
monitoring work production and producing reports for the supervisor;
coaching or facilitating team work and building consensus to meet
deadlines; assisting supervisor in developing milestones and
deadlines; performing quality review of team member work; providing
training and technical guidance; assisting in the development of
holdings condition surveys; and, participating in department
outreach and records disaster recovery activities.

Salary range:  $49,028.00 to $77,114.00/year
