Instruments and Techniques of Conservation. The Workshop intends to train the students who wish to gain experience on scientific diagnostic on Coated Paper and Analog Cultural Heritage. It will be offer during an internship on coated paper conservation. It will Last 250 hours as required number of hours to spend as Italian College credits Topics: Scientific characterization of coated paper and analog material with FTIR and Microscope with results interpretation Test sample of reproduction techniques and treatment of support for digitalization Experimental tests on positive photo shoot with optical bench Chemical development in dark room Positive development and photographic press-contact technique on paper Conservation and relocation of the subjects treated Subscription deadline: 10 June 2016 Students are invite to wear lab coat and to bring personal tool as scalpel, scissor and brushes.
