Mellon Postgraduate Fellowship in Decorative Arts and Sculpture Conservation Philadelphia Museum of Art Philadelphia PA All application deadline: June 15, 2016 The Philadelphia Museum of Art is offering an Andrew W. Mellon Postgraduate Fellowship in Decorative Arts and Sculpture Conservation, beginning September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017. The fellowship may be extended, not to exceed three years. The applicant should be a graduate of a recognized conservation training program or have equivalent experience. The Fellow will examine, conduct research, and perform treatment on a variety of materials (e.g. stone, metal, ceramic, polychromed wood) in the Museum collections (European, American, East Asian, South Asian, Modern, and Contemporary Art) and will participate in preservation activities relating to Museum exhibitions and storage. Each fellowship includes a stipend of $36,621, participation in the Museum's health insurance plan, $3,000 in travel funds and $2,000 for research support.
