Vibration logging

Our museum is thinking of purchasing vibration logging equipment to
do our own vibration monitoring with.  Does anyone have experience
with this sort of instrumentation in their museum?  Do you have any
recommendations on manufacturers/suppliers, makes and models, and
system requirements?
