41st International Symposium on Archaeometry (ISA2016) Kalamata, Greece May 15-21 May 2016) The 41st International Symposium on Archaeometry (ISA2016) will be held in Kalamata, Greece this May (15-21 May, 2016). ISA2016 received 550 submissions from 46 countries, while the registered participants will exceed 600 having achieved a record in the history of ISA. ISA symposia cover the full spectrum of topics, materials, techniques, time span and global applications while aiming at drawing extra attention on new research and application challenges for scholars from both the humanities and science. ISA2016 hosts two special sessions: Environmental Remote Monitoring for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage and The Beginning of the Bronze Age in Eastern Mediterranean, and runs a panel discussion on Making History Matter: The Role of Archaeometry in Anthropocene Studies. In order to facilitate attendance, an "One-Day" registration will be available for non-presenting authors, at the cost of 50 euros. The "One-Day" registration covers access to all sessions, vouchers for the coffee and lunch breaks, the book of abstracts and participation to the Social Events of the day.
