Gordon Research Seminar on Scientific Methods in Cultural Heritage Research Sunday River Newry, ME July 31 - August 5, 2016 Our full conference program for the 2016 Gordon Research Conference on Scientific Methods in Cultural Heritage Research: Probing Hierarchically Complex Historical Materials and Their Modes of Characterization and Alteration has been published. Please view it at: <URL:https://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?id=15101> or see the abbreviated schedule below. This meeting, among the most selective and prestigious conferences in cultural heritage science, takes place July 31 - August 5, 2016 in Newry Maine, and is strictly limited to 155 attendees. Register now to be certain you can join us as a poster presenter or an attendee to hear about groundbreaking research in the field and forge new research collaborations. This year's meeting will include a Gordon Research Symposium for graduate students and postdocs, and also a Samuel H. Kress-Funded Workshop on Technical Art History curriculum development. Please contact me <jmass<-at->udel<.>edu> or Rick Johnson <johnson<-at->ece<.>cornell<.>edu> for more information on the Kress Workshop, and we look forward to having you join us in Maine. We are particularly interested in having a strong showing of conservators along with conservation scientists at this meeting to foster productive discussion sessions, a highlight of the GRC format.
