"Analysing Art: New Technologies - New Applications"
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London, UK
19-20 May 2016

The True Image Solution Ltd., Tessonics Inc., The Institute for
Diagnostic Imaging Research, along with The British Institute of
Non-Destructive Testing, with the kind support of The High
Commission of Canada to the United Kingdom and a number of other
partners, is organising a two-day workshop.

The workshop will focus on non-destructive testing for the
preventive conservation of art as it pertains to the sustainability
of cultural heritage.

In addition to using non-destructive testing methods to discover the
provenance of art objects, the goal of this workshop is to also
discuss non-destructive testing as a means for evaluating the state
of objects as well as the effect of microclimate conditions on
objects currently on display or in storage.

This is the inaugural international workshop taking place every two
years, at the mid-point between the official symposia organized by
the Italian Society for Non-Destructive Testing Monitoring
Diagnostics (AIPnD).

Taking place in central London, the organisers are grateful to The
High Commission of Canada to the United Kingdom for agreeing to host
this event.
