The University of Hawai'i at Manoa Library Services seeks an
innovative, collaborative, and service-oriented librarian to join a
department of library and information professionals.  Under the
general direction of the University Librarian, the preservation
librarian coordinates library-wide preservation efforts and develops
and implements programs for long-term preservation of the library's
collection, in keeping with the Library's vision of Malama i ka 'ike
(Caring for Knowledge).  The preservation librarian collaborates
with public services, collection services, and information
technology divisions to develop library-wide efforts for
preservation, disaster preparedness and other programs to enhance
preservation of library material.
