We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic conservation professional to be the Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Ceramics and Related Materials programmes. Under the direction of the Programme Leader, this role will provide supervision and tuition of students and oversight of the studios, workshops and equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years practical experience in the conservation of ceramics and related materials gained in a commercial or museum context. Crucial to the role is the ability to approach with confidence and ethical best practice, the treatment of a range of conservation problems commonly encountered, and to be able to assist students with the evaluation and delivery of treatments.
