CAPS Workshop 2016 John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art July 12-15, 2016 The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) is pleased to announce Cleaning of Acrylic Painted Surfaces 2016 (CAPS 2016), July 12-15, 2016, at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida. CAPS 2016 is part of an ongoing series of GCI workshops that aim to directly engage conservators with the current research on identifying a broader range of cleaning systems and methodologies for acrylic painted surfaces. The workshop fee of $600 USD includes refreshments during breaks and three lunches. Accepted participants are responsible for all travel and other expenses associated with the workshop.
