George Stubbs and wax painting

This symposium will combine talks on Stubbs' painting technique and
the conservation treatment of his works in the morning with a
discussion of the conservation challenges raised by wax paintings in
the afternoon.  Papers are invited on aspects of Stubbs painting
method or on wax painting more generally, as well as on approaches
to conservation.

Please contact Clare Richardson crichardson<-at->rmg<.>co<.>uk with any
questions and submit abstracts of approximately 250 words by March
15 2016.
