"Plastics Associated with Photographic Materials: Workshops and Symposium" Tucson, Arizona March 14-18, 2016 The schedule for the next Collaborative Workshop in Photograph Conservation "Plastics Associated with Photographic Materials: Workshops and Symposium" is now available online. The program will take place March 14-18, 2016 at the Center for Creative Photography (CCP), University of Arizona, Tucson. The symposium March 16-17, 2016 will include 19 presentations, delivered in four sessions: Session I: History, Identification, and Material Characterization of Transparent Film Supports Session II: Preservation of Transparent Film Supports Session III: Plastics Associated with Photographic Prints Session IV: Plastic Secondary Supports for Contemporary Photographs Limited space is still available in the workshops on March 14-18, 2016. In association with this event there will also be tours of the CCP and other labs on campus the afternoon of March 15, 2016. Registration for tours will open soon.
