Lincoln Cathedral

Two year fixed term contract.  Salary UKP25K per annum

Lincoln Cathedral is entering a new and exciting phase of
conservation work and is looking to develop its Conservation
Department.  An experienced stone conservator is required for the
existing team to undertake a wide range of roles including masonry
and sculpture cleaning, recording, report writing, and repairs to
the Cathedral and its Close properties.  Opportunities to be
involved in prestigious projects such as the West Front Gallery of
Kings and Romanesque Frieze will be developed for the right
candidate

We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:

    Meaningful and demonstrable practical experience in stone
    cleaning and conservation techniques

    Experience of conservation recording and report writing

    A good understanding of current H&S practices

    Good communication skills

    Relevant recognised qualifications

    The ability to work at height and on scaffolded sites
